What types of events and packages do you offer?
At Casa Lantana we specialize in unique, exquisite weddings. Our all-inclusive package is one of the best deals in Tampa Bay. It offers premier services at a mid-range price. We can also put together a completely custom package for you.
Do you allow outside catereres?
Yes. We will work with any catering company of your choice as long as they are legitimate, licensed and insured. We work with most of the catering companies in the Tampa Bay area and can also make recommendations based on your budget and preferences.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Yes. However, you must use our bartenders and bar service company. We can help you with the quantities you will need to purchase. Or, the company we work with has a shopping service and can take care of this for you.
Can I have my hair and makeup done onsite?
Yes, absolutely and you have access to the venue as early as 10:00am on wedding day. We have a large bridal suite and include complimentary mimosas, cheese and fruit.
Can we include our pet in the ceremony?
Yes. We are a pet friendly venue.
Do you have a groom's suite?
Yes. Our large groom’s suite includes a bar, pool table, 82” HDTV, patio area and complimentary beer, cheese and fruit.
What if it rains on the day of my wedding?
We do not host events during the summer months of June, July and August. Our main season runs from late September until the end of May which is when the weather in Florida is at it's finest.
In the process of your event planning we will discuss in detail a back up plan for your event in the case of inclement weather.
This is almost always in the form of a tented reception. And we can wait as late as Thursday for a Saturday event to make this decision.
Do you allow outside catereres?
Yes. We will work with any catering company of your choice if they are legitimate, licensed and insured. We have worked with most of the catering companies in the Tampa Bay area (including food trucks) and can also make recommendations based on your budget and preferences.
Can I add extra time to my event?
Yes. This can be done for an additional fee. It must be agreed to in advance and be part of your original contract. Extra time cannot be added on the actual day of the event.
Can Casa Lantana do all of my event/wedding coordination?
Yes. We specialize in all aspects of wedding and event planning. We are excellent micro managers and can take care of everything from A-Z.
Can I use my own wedding/event coordinator?
Yes. They will be put in touch with one of our Casa Lantana Event Coordinators who will be their designated single point of contact for your event. There is no fee for this service. This helps ensure that your planner will be able to get questions answered, and our full help and cooperation to ensure your day goes smoothly.
Can I do my wedding/event coordination?
Yes. We provide the services of one of our Casa Lantana Event Coordinators for some up front planning and to be available to work with you for ‘Day of Event Coordination.’

Can you provide valet parking?
Yes. For an additional fee we can provide valet parking services.
Can you provide child care services during my event?
Yes. Through our childcare service company we can offer child care services on site during an event. Or, possibly at a local hotel if this works better for guests. The fee for these services is very reasonable and is based on the number and ages of the children.
Do you have any additional/ unusual items you can provide?
Yes. Some of these include: Horse Drawn Carriage; Outdoor Fire Pit with Gourmet S'mores, Cigar Roller, Outdoor Games, Classical Guitarist, Harpist, Singers, Silhouette Artists etc. If you don’t see it and its part of your dream, just ask.
What bathroom facilities do you provide?
In Casa Lantana’s Grand Villa we provide a beautiful spacious Ladies Powder Room with its own en-suite full bathroom. Several vanity tables are provided, together with a comfortable sitting area. An elegant half bathroom on the ground floor is usually allocated as the primary Men’s Room. In addition we have a pretty half bathroom located on our enclosed terrace and Mediterranean style terrazzo. And the guest suite located in this same area also has a full bathroom. In total the Grand Villa provides two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. Our restroom facilities can accommodate events of up to 200 guests.
How many people does your facility accommodate?
We host events of up to 200 Guests.
My new wife and I could not be happier with the relationship we have with Casa Lantana and its staff. The only word to describe it would be perfect. Do you require us to use a specific list of vendors?
No. All vendors used must provide adequate license and insurance information; and complete a site visit prior to the event.
Do you require us to use a specific list of musicians/DJ's?
No. All musicians/DJ’s must complete a site visit prior to the event.
Casa Lantana does not host live bands at our venue.
Are there any restrictions on decorations?
No nails, staples or, tape to be used on the interior of the Grand Villa.
Are there any restrictions on dresscode?
Are there any restrictions on photography/videography?
No. All vendors must complete a site visit prior to the event.
Are there any restrictions on noise levels?
Yes. We must legally comply with Hillsborough Counties Noise Standards. These are required to be 60 Decibels or below from 7am thru 10pm. If there are any questions regarding the level of noise we have our own in house device that can validate the levels and ensure we stay within these legal parameters. All music must end by 10:00pm. Casa Lantana does not host events that end any later than 10:00pm
